Dr. Angelo Vatianou, OD graduated from The New England College of Optometry in Boston in May of 2000. He then came back to Chicago to do an optional one year residency in Ocular Disease at West Side Veteran Affairs Hospital in Chicago . Dr. Vatianou has since been in private practice in Chicago for the last four years. Dr. Vatianou grew up on the West Side of Aurora, went to Aurora West High School, and attended Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Dr. Vatianou is very comfortable treating and diagnosing any condition that can affect your eyes. His experience as an optometrist in a hospital setting is invaluable. You can trust that his knowledge of the eyes is unmatched.
The doctor is extremely comfortable giving eye examinations on all children. He is committed to giving his patients the most up to date information on new technologies including: Laser Eye Surgery (LASIK), soft and hard contact lenses, and new materials for spectacles including frames and lenses.
